I bought Athar Plus. How do I get it back on a new phone?

Open Athar, then Settings → Athar Plus → Restore my purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. Athar Plus is a one-time payment, so you never pay again.

How do I move my journal to a new phone?

Your journal is kept on your phone alone. On the old phone, open Settings → Backup → Make a backup, and save the file somewhere you trust, such as iCloud Drive. Then on the new phone: Settings → Backup → Restore from a backup.

And if you move your whole phone with an iCloud or computer backup, your journal may come along with it.

I deleted a page by mistake

Deleted pages first go to the Trash in Settings, and you can bring them back from there. Deleting from the Trash is permanent.

Can you recover my journal if it’s lost?

No, because we never have a copy of it: no account, no server. That’s why we recommend making a backup from time to time.

The daily reminder doesn’t reach me

Make sure it’s turned on in Settings inside Athar, that Athar is allowed to send notifications in your phone’s Settings → Notifications → Athar, and that a Focus mode isn’t silencing it.

Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.
